Slinky

Say hello to Slinky, a 1.5-year-old Dachshund with a heart full of love and just a tiny dash of sass. Found abandoned on the side of the road, this little lady hasn’t let her past dim her sparkle. Now she’s ready to swap survival mode for sofa snuggles in a calm, loving home. Slinky may be small in size, but she’s got a big personality and a big heart to match.

Slinky is sweet, loyal, and cuddly — but she also thinks she’s in charge of a top-secret mission. She’s great with other dogs, though she prefers to keep her distance at first, and she tends to be the boss of the playgroup. She adores older children (please, no younger ones), and her hobbies include patrolling the garden like a pro, barking at any suspicious activity (even if it’s just a leaf blowing by).

Slinky needs someone home most or all of the time to provide calm leadership and reassurance. She thrives on structure, affection, and a steady routine. What she really needs is someone to gently take the lead, help her retire from security duty, and show her that it’s okay to relax and just be a cute little dog.

With the right person to guide her and provide the love she craves, Slinky will blossom into the calm, happy companion she’s always wanted to be. She’s got all the love in the world to give — she just needs the right home to feel safe enough to give it fully.
